HOLY SHIT! If you’re looking for something you can binge read in one sitting that will keep you guessing until the epilogue, then look no further! This is my second Freida McFadden book and it will certainly NOT be my last because WOW! This book follows Mr and Mrs Bennett who are both teachers at the high school and Addie, a student who has a rather troubled past。 The Mr & Mrs are not particularly happy in their marriage and Addie has recently gotten herself into some trouble so we are following HOLY SHIT! Some were more predictable than others, but the final twist in the epilogue?!?? Are you kidding me!!! I never saw that one coming and my jaw hit the floor。 I screamed out loud。 Overall 4。5 ⭐️ Absolutely recommend!!! 。。。more

I always know that I’m going to read the next Freida McFadden book and The Teacher didn’t disappoint。 It’s a fast-paced read that kept my interest throughout。 It was a little more predictable than her other books, but I definitely didn’t anticipate all the twists。

I really enjoyed this book! The plot twist was crazy and I didn’t see that one coming at all。 Freida just knows how to pull her readers in from the very beginning。 I did find that there were a lot of gaps in the story and I wish we had more context。 There were certain parts of the story that felt rushed。 However I really liked it。 This is your typical Frieda McFadden book and you won’t be able to put it down。

As a huge fan of Freida McFadden, I assumed The Teacher would be as amazing as her other books, and guess what? It was!!Freida has wonderful character development and her plot twists are legendary。 There were a few twists in this book that I literally dropped my jaw at。 Her tension-building between characters through the course of the story is the reason she's currently the queen of thrillers, and it's a well- deserved title。 Run and get this book! A huge shoutout to NetGalley for providing an early listen to The Teacher audiobook by Freida McFadden! Freida McFadden is the queen of twists and turns。 Just when you think you have it figured out, wham! She hits you with another one。 I've read every single novel by this author, and this one takes the cake。 My favourite one yet!I listened to the audiobook version of this novel, and it was so well done。 The narrators did a fantastic job bringing the story to life! I didn't want it to end。 Thank you so much to the author for continuing to write such interesting psychological thrillers! A truly fast paced Freida special。 Set in the halls of a high school where both our main characters teach, scandals unfold。 As expected, and in true Frieda fashion, there are several twists at the end。 Leslie Howard does an excellent job narrating this story。 The narration had two different voice actors that made the story come to life。 Chapter transitions were smooth。 I found the speed to be a tad slow at 1。0x but perfect at 1。25x。 Fun, fast, enjoyable and exactly what I expect from Freida!

So。 I am giving this one five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I thoroughly enjoyed this book! Plot holes and all! An intriguing and addictive psychological thriller。 This book kept me on the edge of my seat with twists that occurred right up through the final page。 Characters were well developed and the story felt like it was coming from the multiple different points of view it was written in。

I finally got one right! I finally figured Freida out!"。 I was celebrating as I walked the woods with my dogs listening as the last bits of the story played out。。。。。。。 and then she got me again。 I don't know how Freida McFadden creates these amazing twists, but I can't get enough of them。 Anyone who is not reading her obsessively at this point is missing out! 。。。more

3。75/5 starsThis psychological thriller kept me reading because I had to know how things turned out! The Teacher follows two women, Eve, a high school math teacher, and Addie, one of her deeply troubled students。 In a Frieda McFadden book, nothing is as it seems。I found this book to be pretty fast pace, medium at some points。 McFadden does a great job of building suspense and tension。 I found the characters to be complex, as they always are in McFadden's books。 For the most part, I also believe 3。75/5 starsThis psychological thriller kept me reading because I had to know how things turned out! Thanks NetGalley for an advanced copy of the audiobook of The Teacher! I’ve read most of Freida McFadden’s work because I always find her books to be quick, engaging, and full of great and unexpected twists。 The Teacher was no exception。 For the first part of the book, I was a little disappointed because I thought the story followed a very safe formula, and while the main characters were married teachers, I felt the story spoke more to a domestic suspense trope。 However, as the story progressed Thanks NetGalley for an advanced copy of the audiobook of The Teacher! It's not like I have anything to worry about, and I know things like this probably really do happen more often than we know, but this is very inappropriate behavior。 Although it still would not have been ethical, making the teenager 18 would have been slightly better。 Out of curiosity I looked up the age of consent and in 31 states it's 16 in case you were wondering。Regarding the bullying ~ I can see why Addie felt like she had to take it and couldn't stand up for herself。 It's tough being a teenage girl and add in rumors from a scandal the previous year and it's even harder。 So when someone shows a little interest in you it's easy to fall under their spell。 I can also see why Kenzie was dishing it out because she was hurting too。 If I wasn't already disgusted by how old Addie was it's way worse when we find out Kenzie's age。 The manipulation and grooming is really sickening。Look there is no doubt this author knows how to give us a shocking twist, but this one is very much 'what's good for the goose is good for gander' and I just couldn't believe it。 There's a crazy plot hole at the end with the car rides, too, but I won't give anything away with that。So, I'll just chill over here in outlier land, which is perfectly fine because I enjoy hanging out with my delightful self。 Anyway, if I do read this author again I am going to make absolutely sure every character is over 18, maybe even 21 for good measure。 I mean I don't even want a couple with a baby just in case。Narration notes:Leslie did an outstanding job for both female characters。 She gave them both a voice and Addie sounded properly aged。 Her emotions were on point。 Danny doesn't have as many chapters, but he did a fine job too。Connect with me ➡ Blog ~ Facebook ~ Twitter 。。。more
